1. Who we are

LifeDesk ("we," "us," or "our") is a consumer software application currently in development, operated by LifeDesk and its parent entity based in Houston, Texas. Our website is located at lifedesk.life and our contact email is hello@lifedesk.life.

LifeDesk is currently in pre-launch stage. We operate a waitlist at lifedesk.life where individuals may sign up to receive updates and early access when the app launches.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Email address — collected when you join our waitlist or contact us directly
• Communications — any messages you send to us via email at hello@lifedesk.life

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, time spent on site, browser type, and device type collected via standard web analytics
• Cookies — small data files stored on your device to improve your experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings
• IP address — collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) as part of standard web server logs

Information we do NOT currently collect

• Payment or financial information
• Government ID or social security numbers
• Health or medical records
• Credit scores or financial account data (this will apply only if and when you create an account in the future app and explicitly consent)

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To send you waitlist updates — including launch announcements, founding member offers, and product development updates
• To communicate with you — responding to questions or requests you send us directly
• To improve our product — understanding how visitors use our site helps us build a better app
• To comply with legal obligations — we may use or disclose information as required by law

4. Affiliate recommendations & commissions

When LifeDesk launches, the app will surface relevant recommendations — such as insurance quotes, home service providers, credit card offers, loan options, and other financial products — based on information you provide in your account.

LifeDesk may earn a commission or referral fee when you click on or act upon these recommendations. This does not affect the price you pay for any product or service. We only surface recommendations we believe are genuinely relevant and beneficial to you.

Any use of your personal data to generate these recommendations will:

• Require your explicit consent at account creation
• Be clearly disclosed within the app at the point of recommendation
• Never involve selling your data to any third party
• Be limited to surfacing options inside the LifeDesk app only

5. Credit monitoring & financial data

LifeDesk plans to offer credit score monitoring and personalized financial product recommendations as part of its Plus and Family plans. This feature is not yet active.

When this feature launches:

• Your consent will be required before any credit bureau data is accessed
• Credit data will be sourced from trusted, regulated bureau partners
• Your credit information will never be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent
• You may withdraw consent and delete your data at any time

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with the following trusted service providers who help us operate our business:

• Mailchimp — email marketing and automation (stores your email address to send you communications)
• Netlify — website hosting (processes IP addresses and usage data as part of standard hosting)
• Google Workspace — business email (processes emails you send to hello@lifedesk.life)

Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and we require them to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address and any communications for as long as you remain subscribed to our waitlist or until you request deletion. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed from our active mailing list within 10 business days. You may request complete deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@lifedesk.life.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to deletion — request that we delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to opt out — unsubscribe from our emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly
• Right to data portability — request your data in a portable format

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to know whether personal information is sold or disclosed, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

10. Children's privacy

LifeDesk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at hello@lifedesk.life and we will promptly delete it.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

12. Third party links

Our website and future app may contain links to third-party websites, services, or partner offers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our product develops and launches. We will notify waitlist members of any material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
